Our last stop in Thailand

We decided to do a bit more relaxing on the sunny beaches of Thailand before continuing our journey to Malaysia.

For our last stop we chose Railay Beach, on the west coast of Thailand and pretty much only accessible via long boat. This has a big benefit, despite its high ranking in various most beautiful beach surveys and the corresponding flow of tourists coming with a boat-tour during the day, the beaches and the village are fairly quiet from evening until morning. In addition to Railay Beach, there is also Phra Nang beach a short walk away. This beach we personally liked better especially on the side far away from the caves which are a tourist magnet during the day.

There is also plenty of wildlife to spot, we saw two different types of monkeys, two water monitors in the bushes (unfortunately they managed to get away before we could take a picture), bats (circling the sky at dusk) and birds and fish. All in all, a very nice spot to spend a few days.
