A/C sleeper bus to Pondicherry

…not quite, but the streets have the French Rue, there are Crepe places and there is Auroville. Auroville is an experimental township, which was founded by Mirra Alfassa, the Paris born former spiritual leader of the Sri Aurobindo movement and is based on Sri Aurobindo’s vision. Auroville itself is a big experiment in peaceful, communal living dedicated to realise human unity. It is build around the impressive Matrimandir structure.

The former French colony of Pondicherry is a fairly laid back place and seems to be open to people of all creeds. It has a long beach, nice instagrammable cafes, French restaurants, many churches, Hindu temples and ashrams. So the perfect place to enjoy the Christmas Holidays.
