Chennai in the rain

The sightseeing in Chennai was unfortunately also the first rainy day of our journey. Luckily we were well prepared bringing our raincoats with us. We visited the landmark buildings, mainly from the colonial area, such as the Government Museum with a cannon captured by the East India Company. There are also some impressive religious buildings in Chennai, including the Santhome church, Kapaleeshwarar Temple and Sri Ramakrishna Math. Thanks to the Christmas tree in our hostel we were at least a bit in a festive mood. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
