Venturing further

On our third day here in Delhi I am still strongly adjusting with a few ups and downs. These are things like getting to trust a motor rickshaw driver instead of walking along a busy street without a footpath, the different sounds and smells as well as tastes. On the opposite site I feel very comfortable taking the metro line, which is more modern than the London one, is half as busy and squeaky clean.

Getting off the metro in Karol Bagh coming from south Delhi felt like being transported into a different city. Way more vehicles, much more noise and a different level of hectic, especially along the busy car sellers. Even after dark, the area is bussing with energy, but the hectic has subsided and the colourful signs and ads illuminate the streets.
