Day 15 – Flying back

The last highlight of the trip, the ride on the Maglev train. The Maglev is based on the German transrapid technology and is a monorail train which connects the local metro with the airport and covers a part of the distance of 30 km at 300 km/h leading to a total journey time of only 8 minutes. Prior to 2021 it was going even faster, at 431 km/h but has been slowed to 300 km/h since. In the airport we treated ourselves to more Dim Sum before boarding the plane and heading back to Germany.
