Day 13 – Back to the city

We left the hotel at 7:15 am in great excitement about going to Shanghai. The 1,500 km distance were quickly covered by bus and plane and we arrived in Shanghai in the afternoon. Since we had a bit of time before meeting for dinner, we headed out and explored the area around the hotel and found a really cute café with great coffee. This was then followed by a simple dinner  before heading out to the Bund, being left speechless by the light show in Pudong and enjoying window shopping on Nanjing Road. We concluded our day admiring Shanghai from high up on the Oriental Pearl Tower.
