Day 11 – Off-to and on-to the river

 

We spent the morning enjoying a boat ride on the Li River admiring the stunning landscape which even made it onto the 20 Yuan note, but let the photos speak for themselves. After lunch at a local charity project we had a bit of free time and later went to cooking class where we learned to prepare beer fish. We headed back looking forward to the freshly ordered Durian at the hotel for desert. After enjoying a large piece, we kept the rest in our hotel room. Maybe not the best idea, already smelling it in the hallway when we came back from a stroll through town.
