Day 10 – Next stop Yangshuo

Finally we could have a bit of a lie-in since departure for our next stop Yangshuo was only at 9 am. We took our last bullet train ride for the trip from Guilinxi for 5 h and then a private bus for a 2 h ride to Yangshuo. The town instantly conveyed a bit of a party vibe having many lights and a lot of youngsters either on foot or on electric scooter. After checking-in we headed to town for a portion of the local specialty, beer fish. On our way the first impression was confirmed, this is a holiday/party town. The way was lined by outdoor food stalls, karaoke bars, cafes, stores and restaurants. We enjoyed a bit of the buzz, but were back at the hotel at 10:30pm having had to pay tribute to the intense prior days.
