Big City Life

Our last days in Mumbai were mostly focused on enjoying the small creature comforts that only a big city can offer. On the culinary side some of our highlights were breakfast with pastries at Theobroma, followed by seasonal Frappuccinos at Starbucks in the afternoon and burger for dinner at Social Colaba. The recreational part was covered by a stroll in the hanging gardens and watching Sunday cricket in the Oval Maidan park in front of the Mumbai High Court. However, the absolute highlight of our last days in Mumbai was not culinary, it was watching the sunset at Nariman Point. This, as it turns out, prepared us quite well for the totally laid back atmosphere in Goa…
